Client onboarding for advisory firms
Move a new engagement from initial enquiry to a complete, reviewable case without repeatedly chasing the same information.
Client onboarding connects the information you request, the evidence you receive and the person who decides that work can begin. We build that process around your engagement types and existing client systems.
Where onboarding stalls
A signed engagement can still sit idle because documents are missing, information conflicts or nobody owns the next step. A shared mailbox shows messages, but rarely shows whether a case is ready. Start by defining the evidence required for each engagement type and who can approve exceptions.
One record from enquiry to handover
We connect the client request, document collection, completeness checks and reviewer queue. Clients see what remains outstanding. Staff can see the source of each answer and request a correction without restarting the process. Once a reviewer accepts the case, the delivery team receives the evidence and outstanding conditions together.
Connect the tools you already use
Your client relationship system can remain the source for contacts and commercial status. Document storage retains the original files. The workflow records which version was reviewed and who accepted it. We agree access rules for clients, administrators and advisers before connecting systems, including how access ends when an engagement closes.
Start with one engagement type
Bring a typical case, an incomplete case and one that needed an exception. We use them to define the first release and measure elapsed onboarding time, repeated requests and cases returned after handover. If a configured onboarding product can meet those requirements, that may be a better starting point than a custom platform.
