Inspection and remedial action management
Carry inspection findings through assignment, remedial work and verified closure, with evidence at each step.
Inspection management covers the work around a visit. Remedial action management covers what happens after a problem is found. We connect both so an issue does not disappear between a report and a contractor's job list.
Capture findings people can act on
A useful finding identifies the site or asset, the observed issue, its evidence and the person responsible for the next decision. We design capture forms around the inspection type and the conditions in which staff work. If connectivity is unreliable, synchronisation and conflicting edits must be resolved before field rollout.
Route work with clear responsibility
Triage assigns priority and ownership using rules agreed with operational specialists. Contractors receive the information needed to act, and managers can see missed deadlines or rejected assignments. Reassignment retains the original finding and its history instead of creating an unrelated task.
Verify closure rather than count completed tasks
The person doing the work supplies completion evidence. An authorised reviewer accepts it, requests more detail or reopens the finding. Separate work completion from verified closure so reporting does not overstate progress. Recurring findings can be linked to the same asset for further investigation.
Pilot one inspection route
Test the full route with an inspector, coordinator, contractor and reviewer. Include a missed visit, disputed finding and rejected completion. Track time to assignment, overdue remedial work and rejected closures. This operational scope is narrower than estate-wide compliance oversight, which also covers obligations and evidence outside inspections.
